Please join us to hear more about the *NEW* Regional Beef Branding Initiative led by Local Food and Farm Co-ops in partnership with The Beef Farmers of Ontario.

How will this project benefit our region?
Who should participate?
What does the market demand look like for beef in our region?
What would it look like for me as a producer to participate?
What funding and support would be available if I choose to scale up or make some changes to improve efficiency in my production practices?

3:00 pm: Market research presentation (Jen Springett)
What are the retail and wholesale consumer demands, and how do they overlap with current production & processing? Suggested brand criteria will be presented for feedback.
4:00 pm: “Selling Beyond the Farm Gate” with AMI (Jen Springett)
New six module online training course with business expansion tools and templates. Perfect resources to help determine if scaling up is viable for you, or to help you create a business plan for funding applications or planning purposes.
4:30 pm: Sustainable New Agri-food Products & Productivity (SNAPP) (Andrea Habinski)
*NEW* clean technology stream. Which streams are most appropriate for farms looking to upgrade equipment for improved efficiency, or to expand operations.
5:00- 6:00 pm Locally sourced beef dinner
6:00-8:00 pm: Verified Beef Production Plus Pre-Audit workshop (Dan Ferguson)
