EARLY BIRD PRICE REGISTRATION UNTIL NOV 16!
Scaling up for the wholesale market can have serious pitfalls if you are not prepared. How can you market effectively to wholesale buyers, without losing your shirt? Let’s talk about
identifying what the market wants
projecting financial and operational implications of scaling up
developing targeted market materials and relationships with wholesale buyers
During this workshop, you will have an opportunity to learn from wholesale buyers (restaurant/store/institutional) about what they need from farmers - in terms of pricing, packaging, handling, delivery etc.
This session will be facilitated by Peggy Baillie. She and her husband farm near Sudbury, selling chicken through both retail and wholesale markets. Peggy also managed a retail food store for several years, purchasing directly from local farmers.
Join us for this practical and jam-packed day that will help you plan for the future.
Registration and coffee will begin at 9:00am and the workshop will start at 9:30am. Lunch included.
