gathering input from voices in all corners of the sector. We were joined by farmers, food entrepreneurs, investors, agencies, partners, and more. Thank you to all who participated and joined the conversation, shaping what the Fair Finance Fund is becoming.
About the Fair Finance Fund
Local Food and Farm Co-ops has launched a collaborative project that mobilizes capital to support the local food and farm sector. The Fair Finance Fund will be a social finance investment fund that supports local food and farm enterprises that have values in enhancing local food systems, local economies, and the planet. These enterprises can apply to the fund to receive a loan to support their new, ongoing or expanding operations.
The fund is building on seed capital and will be providing an ongoing opportunity for community-minded investors to support food that is grown, raised and processed in their own backyards.
